Atplas Celebrating a Year of Growth - Our Journey with AVK

Time flies when you're making progress! Today marks a full year since we became part of the AVK family. It's hard to believe how quickly this year has passed. From day one we have been warmly embraced by the AVK Group, encountering friendly faces and receiving invaluable support along the way. The collaborative spirit displayed by our UK sister companies and colleagues across various group functions has made us feel welcome as part of the AVK family. 07-06-2023

Reflecting on the past year, we can proudly say that we have achieved remarkable milestones within a relatively short timeframe. Some of these include; 

  • Successful rebranding efforts that have invigorated our company's image and positioned us for future growth.
  • Launching our comprehensive catalogues, including the innovative Digi Catalogue, which offers our valued customers a convenient and interactive platform to explore our extensive product range.
  • Active participation in exhibitions such as Utility Week Live 2023 and the Wolseley Conference, as well as customer and innovation days.
  • Installing the new 1400t Machine, a significant investment that sets the stage for advanced tooling capabilities, specifically designed for the upcoming Matrix Multi boundary box.
  • Securing two new framework contracts with Yorkshire Water for boundary boxes and surface boxes, a testament to our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Renewing our boundary box contract with Wessex Water, extending our partnership for a new 7-year framework, affirming our reliability and the value we bring to our clients.
  • Introducing our internal metering range of products, along with an accompanying catalogue, to cater to the evolving needs of our customers and expand our product portfolio.

These accomplishments represent only a fraction of the transformative changes we've made, including a significant factory layout, among others. As we reflect on these achievements, we remain dedicated to driving further innovation, expanding our market presence, and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

As we approach the second year of our business planning, we are filled with the same level of excitement and opportunity as we experienced during our first year.  Currently we are finalising our operations re-layout and will continue to drive progress in our Lean & SQDIPP development.

Looking ahead, we have many more exciting projects in the pipeline (pun intended) including key initiatives to integrate and embed the AVK Values and Customer Promises into Atplas, with a focus on ensuring our customers are at the very heart of our business and everything we do.

Overall, we are proud of our accomplishments thus far and eagerly anticipate the future ventures that lie ahead for our organisation.

As we take a moment to acknowledge these accomplishments, we are filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for the collective effort put forth by our team. Our growth journey with AVK so far should inspire us and for us to look forward to even greater achievements in the years to come.
