James Fry, Managing Director

James Fry joined Atlantic Plastics in 2007 and been a member of the Senior Management Team since 2010 holding the positions of Finance Director (2013-2022) and MD of Operations (2017-2022).  A Certified Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and holding a degree in Accounting & Finance James has over 20 years’ experience in a finance and manufacturing environment. Prior to joining the business James worked in the Food Manufacturing Industry for Dawn Meats & RF Brookes/Premier Foods.

Gary Deacon, Sales Director

Gary Deacon joined Talis (now Atlantic Plastics) in April 2014 and has over 30 years’ sales experience. Gary has a wealth of senior executive level experience and previously spent two years at the Spear & Jackson Group where he held the position of Managing Director of Exports. Previous to this he was business development director and then sales director at Wavin UK / Hepworth Building Products where he was responsible for all business development, specification and project sales.

Graeme Watson, Operations Director

Graeme Watson joined Talis (now Atlantic Plastics) in June 2014. As a graduate chemical engineer he has over 30 years’ experience working in a diverse range of manufacturing industries. Graeme has over 12 years’ experience as Operations Director with overall responsibility for production, engineering, quality, warehousing, logistics, purchasing, planning, design and health and safety.

Simon Spridgeon, Commercial Director

Simon Spridgeon joined Talis in 2015 as a Group Product Manager for House Connections and moved across to Atlantic Plastics as Marketing & Product Director when it joined the AVK Group in 2022. Simon has a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and industry experience both at TALIS and for 12 years as a Product and Technical Manager for Geberit where he was responsible for the sanitary systems and piping systems product ranges in the UK and Ireland.
