All Ireland Water and Waste Water Expo 2025
Atplas at the All-Ireland Water & Wastewater Expo 2025 - A Successful Day of Insight, Innovation and Collaboration 05-12-2025
The Atplas team thoroughly enjoyed an inspiring and productive day at the All-Ireland Water and Wastewater Expo 2025.
Alongside our partners AVK UK Ltd, Fusion and Glenfield Invicta Ltd, the Atplas team had the pleasure of connecting with utility leaders, network engineers, planners, contractors and specialists from across Ireland’s water sector.
Throughout the event, conversations were rich with practical challenges and forward-thinking ideas — from Smart Water and Pressure Management to strategies for reducing leakage, and the essential network components and services that keep systems performing reliably. It was inspiring to hear how organisations across Ireland were preparing their networks for the future, and even more rewarding to share the new solutions, innovations and services the wider AVK Group can offer as the industry progresses into the demands of AMP8.
Showcasing Future-Ready Water Network Solutions
Across the exhibition space, visitors explored a wide range of AVK Group solutions designed to help utilities reduce leakage, optimise flow and future-proof their water networks. At the Atplas exhibit, our Export Sales Manager James Pick showcased our comprehensive range of boundary boxes, including the new Matrix Multi Barrier Box, which generated strong interest among attendees seeking durable, reliable and regulation-ready network infrastructure.
About the All-Ireland Water & Wastewater Expo
The All-Ireland Water & Wastewater Expo brought together key stakeholders from the municipal, industrial and domestic water and wastewater community to discuss the critical issues facing the sector. With multi-annual funding of €6 billion allocated under the National Development Plan through 2026, Ireland is investing heavily in world-class water infrastructure. This includes major upgrades to treatment facilities, national leakage reduction programmes, and network improvements that will shape the future of water services across the country. Industries such as pharmaceutical, food and beverage, chemical, electronics and medical devices are also experiencing increased demand for high-quality water. As Ireland continues to meet stringent EU environmental standards, topics such as sustainability, ESG goals, water efficiency and wastewater treatment were central to many conversations throughout the expo.
Who Attended
The expo welcomed a wide range of professionals from across the water and wastewater community, including policy makers and advisors, local authorities, group water scheme operators, engineering contractors, water treatment and network directors, and representatives from government departments and agencies. Also in attendance were technical, environmental and sustainability managers, large industrial water users, infrastructure and quality assurance managers, as well as solution providers and engineering teams, all coming together to share insight and explore the future of Ireland’s water networks.
Thank you once again to everyone who joined us in Leopardstown. We look forward to continuing the conversations and supporting Ireland’s water sector with innovative, future-ready solutions.
