Atplas Celebrates a Major Milestone with Building for Growth Event

The day began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Managing Director James Fry and AVK UK Chairman Paul Hubbard, followed by tours of the factory and new offices. Since joining the AVK Group four years ago, the business has strengthened its capabilities through ongoing investment in people, technology, and infrastructure.  Guests saw first-hand how automation and continued investment in machinery are improving efficiency, increasing capacity, and supporting growing demand across the UK water industry.

Key achievements highlighted at the event included the transition to recycled materials across the meter box range, a reduction of over 50% in Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions, and continued product innovation to meet evolving industry needs.
